Private charter to Maasai Mara

The Mara is the reason most people charter in Kenya. By road it is five to six hours of hard driving; by air it is forty-five minutes, which converts a travel day into a game drive.

The reserve and its surrounding conservancies are served by a network of airstrips — Ol Kiombo, Keekorok, Musiara, Mara Serena, Kichwa Tembo and others — so we can land you at the strip closest to your camp rather than the one that happens to be busiest.

When to go

• July to October. The Great Migration and the Mara River crossings. Book early — camps and aircraft both fill.
• January to March. Calving season, excellent predator activity, far fewer vehicles.
• Year round. The resident game is exceptional in every month.

Flying notes

Mara strips are unpaved and performance-limited, particularly in the wet season. Aircraft are chosen accordingly, and accurate baggage weights matter — soft bags only, and please give us honest numbers.
